Got it, installed it, and waited until 1 am last night for it to go live. It didn't, but that's probably for the best, all things considered. Tonight, however ... zombies beware.

pre-loaded on Steam. Of course, I have a bad feeling Steam is gonna get slammed today, right now it won't even detect my games for some reason.

expert taste from demo in no way translates to real game. Chaly and I were getting owned on Advanced mode in the theme park - holy ****... love this game.

and ****ING SPITTERS! (always prefer swallowers); those spitters can really **** things up; gotta try it in versus

I dunno - I played the demo. I liked the (free) Zombie Master mod. Can't say I'll be spending $50 for Zombie Master 3.0 . . .

I would not want a chainsaw in the bathroom, there are delicate things in there I don't want chainsawed. It's almost as pointless as Doom 3's chainsaws on Mars thing, but at least they acknowledged it.

I"m so digging this game... they did it right IMO.

AAM - sorry for the delay - ya, buy it, you wont regret it. Hell I'm playing games with VSF peeps I haven't played with since BF2 and RTCW days

That's one of the things that I realized last night, Sot. RTCW was the last one that implemented objectives in a way that felt "right". And there are objectives in L4D2, without which you just can't proceed. Steal the docs & escort the carrier? Well, now it's snag the soda & escort the carrier. Funny, but the same principle. Plant the dyno? Fuel the car.

I know CoD MW had objectives, and so did the new Wolfenstein, but I didn't feel the same pressure to get it done. Maybe I just don't like timetables. They got the objective aspects done right with this one, though.

But damn, trying to fuel that car in the mall???? holy **** - Jojo, space cowboy, vicious and me were playing that on Advanced - zomg; we got owned right as we were going to get the last tank of gas. I wonder if it changes based on difficulty? Advanced = 13 tanks of gas.

...oh, and ya, don't drop the tank and then just spray the area with bullets - exploding gas cans are good for zombies, bad for survivors...

13 cans on Normal. That's the only way we could do it. Best weapon combo that worked for us was the sniper rifle, for the long-range kills, and everyone using a katana if you're on the floor the gas is on. If you had a shotgun, it was only for the tank.

Ya sorry Jojo, last couple nights I've been tied up w/my daughter and just worn out from work. I'll be on tonight though - love playing w/you guys, I feel like we have a good team chemistry.

Need a few more to get this and have an all out brawl on versus or scavanger

Last night was soooo close.

Even without surviving I did get the "do not disturb the witches" bling during previous unsuccessful round.

Yeah sorry about that. I knew that was going to happen with the charger. Any time you want to give it a go, just hop on in and we help out. On expert right? :D
