If vsfgamers.com had user blogs where you could talk about whatever you like in blog format, would you use it?

I voted not sure, and I'm not entirely sure I'd try it.
Could be interesting.

Doesn't the Wall pretty much accomplish the same thing?

I think so, but it would allow many of the more "talkative" posters a place to have all their "thoughts" all in one place...
(easier to block that way :)

Let the talkative ones keep the wall. We lack the spammers we once had to keep the wall active enough as it is.

I would continue using my own blog

Even if I had an admin pad my post count ( ;) ), I couldn't top that.

Well, I did some research into this and found out the following:
- vBulletin has a blog add-on for the forums, but it costs $50 year (no biggie, really)
- the vB add-on looks weak on blog features it should have
- there is a Wordpress bridge but it does not support multi-user (lame)
- there is no really good/easy way to do this (double lame)
So... going to shelve this idea until someone does the hard work for me and makes a bridge for Wordpress-MU to work with vBulletin. When I posted this topic I didn't realize yet how crappy the vB blog system is... they've got the forums right but I think they need a few years for blogs!

We could also mess around with the idea of turning on public groups for the members to create a join.
I know that Invision does a decent job with their blog system, too bad that isn't the case for vB.
