TF2 Engineer

Ive been toying around TF2 mostly as a Heavy. I tryed the Engineer class last night but became confused on how to build anything. I see how to pull up the list of items to build, but how do you acess them to build?

When you bring up that list each thing is numbered.

Sentry is 1
Dispenser is 2
Tele is 3
other tele is 4

Just press the number to select them and choose where to build the item.

you have to have enough metal. tht is in the lower left of the screen. you can carry up to 200. it takes x amount of metal to make anything. you can have one of each of the 4 items. youc an also destroy them. You can get extra metal by picking up ammo. right clicking when you have the item in thw white outline mode lets you rotate it.
