VOIP problems in TF2

My in-game VOIP isn't picking up my mic. All sliders are set to high. When I do the mic test, nothing registers. I have an X-fi card.

Anyone got ideas?

Does your mic work in other VOIP apps like TS or Vent?

Thats one of the best things i have found with Steam games. Everything just seems to work with out much fiddling.

FWIW i have the same card with no issues.

VOIP works fine in ETQW and in Ventrilo
