In reality, it won't cost anything. Each shuttle flight has locker space for "promotional" materials...typically flags and pins that are later given out as awards. Also, the Shuttle typically takes up thousands of pounds in ballast to adjust the vehicle's CG. If something required vehicle power and/or cooling, then we'd be talking impact and $$$.
