kernel upgrade smoked the grub bootloader. which shouldn't happen.

three cheers for iweb tech support... had us back up about 10 minutes after i put the ticket in!

Yes, the boot loader did travel through a tans-warp conduit, but I had them reconfigure the plasma relays and reverse the intake manifolds, and we were able to restore order to the space/time continuum.
