Could you attach a screenshot? Also, are you logging in and staying on .com?

We are experiencing issues regarding the .org/.com nightmare... but I don't know why. Working on it. Screenshots may help!

I have the same problem, no icons at all for anything. I see exactly what Eskimo sees.

I do not know if this helps also but I use Opera as my everyday browser. the above pics are of it. But it looks the same in mozilla and in Internet Explorer I see red x's. hope this helps somehow : )

Yea I am on my linux desktop now and have the same issue as my windows pc. It makes it difficult to read the forums because the icons for new threads and unread threads are missing. The messenger icons are missing and replaced with text. Normal threads are not aligned correctly because the text causes the windows to expand. I have tried to look into the issue but it is too late for me to think straight.

Edit: I noticed I am connected to vsfgamers.com without the www. The site is not found when I try to access www.vsfgamers.com. None of the other url's are found either. The page seems to try and load the images that are missing but fails.

I think we are having some dns issues with vsfgamers.org and the www portion. I dunno what's up yet but looking into it.

I set a "replacement variable" for vsfgamers.org to vsfgamers.com which corrected the problem like this that I finally saw. Let me know if it's better.

There are 2 issues here:
1: DNS
2: vB loading images from .org

For #1 it's a waiting game. I need my partner in crime to update our name server entries on 1 domain, and for all the changes to propagate out. Then if there are still issues I can troubleshoot.

For #2 I've posted a support thread on vbulletin.com to get some ideas... I have none at this point. The only one I have is to set it all up again on .com... which is no fun at all.

Just so that you understand what I am seeing, when I ping www.vsfgamers.ORG (http://www.vsfgamers.ORG), it can not find that host name.

OK, this is a screen cap (after a REALLY long wait for all the timeouts on each of the graphics that are supposed to be coming from the .org address). Every one of the "blank" graphics has a properties listing showing it is on the www.vsfgamers.ORG (http://www.vsfgamers.ORG) location.

OD, yes, we are having DNS issues with .org but I don't know why... but the images SHOULDN'T be loading from .org!!!

It's really odd how the buttons are pointing to a LINK from .com but the actual button "img src" is from .org. It seems to be ONLY buttons...not links. The "Previous Thread" links (just text links) are fine, and the actual link on a button is fine, but the image for the button is using .org hosts instead of the .com. I've never seen this "tactic" of "mixing" hosts, but I guess once the DNS issues are resolved (making .org actually the same as .com) there won't be any problem with it.

Well it is now looking fine for me. I don't know if it was DNS propagation or something else but good work Batmanuel. :)

DNS-- yes, but I don't know what I did (I was monkeying with a lot of stuff).

.org image loading--not yet.

Well, at least it doesn't take 2 minutes for a page to timeout all the bad links. It's much easier to help out when I can load the pages and read stuff.

I do still see the .org image loading....very odd.

Keep "monkeying"! ;)

Yeah, keep monkeying! :) Also, minor little question, but is there a drop-down or link someplace to the available smileys? Or am I just missing something obvious?

I get some smileys, and other red x's... I also seem to switch back to the "default" style everytime I revisit the website (I don't log out b/w visits).
