Is there a way to set up a profile or config file such that particular usernames are automatically muted when you join or when they join the channel? Thanks.

Unfortunately, no, I can't find anything that would allow for a macro or profile that would mute a person for just you, as the Mute feature completely mutes that player to everybody on TS. There are a couple of options that I can think of right now.
#1 Mute them anyway, or warn them that they are going to if they don't act more maturely.
#2 Send them a personalized text via TS, that way it'll remain private and not cause anyone embarassment.
#3 Created a second 2142 channel, titled "Mature Players Only" (that seemed to have helped a bit last time).
#4 Created a third 2142 channel, titled "Knifing Only".
I'll hold off on offering Option #5, as I'd rather not have to create a 2142 TS Admin Profile. If I need to, and get enough requests from those that already have TS Admin status, then we'll cross that bridge. I've yet to see or hear of anyone abusing the Admin powers, and I'm sure that we all expect that nobody will abuse it at this point. I'd hate to see any animosity spring from this, so please, keep the BS'ing and ball-busting the way it's been on TS. Nobody really gives a rat's ass what bling you just got, so keep from getting yourselves muted.

I was afraid of that. Thanks for checking Chaly.

You can however - set a key to mute TS completely if you want. Since I'm a TS Regular (I'm on it - whether if I play or not) I sometimes need to shut everyone up. Just set a key bind for volume down. (I have the keypad '-' key set for Volume to 0%, '*' for 100%, and '+' for 200%.
You can also set a keybind to switch channels - so you could set one to hit a key, and it will switch you to Mature Players channel.
