You may notice there are some new ads on the left menu... way down the bottom, out of the way, blended in (perfect with the forest theme... just ok with the desert).

All of the proceeds from these ads will go directly to supporting the game server (current and future) to help supplement the donations.

If you have a strong objection... well, most of us use a browser that has an ad-blocker built in -- please use it. Otherwise, please click them responsibly for things you may be interested in, and help support the server(s)!

Currently it is for a Ranked server, which we have no use of.

It's based on the content of the particular page... so.. the Jessica Alba thread will probably be all porn (yippie!) and the hardware threads will have ads for newegg, etc... we can exclude things, but not really include things.

Kidding, there will be no porn links...

I look at the ads. Really, I do. I would love to see something that interests me. But really, I don't want or need a Battlefield ringtone, nor egg donation information (I guess they keep keying off of Pirate Pope), nor am I interested in starting my own ranked server. How about a link to cool Nerf weapons?

I'm still tweaking the filters; it's kinda hit-and-miss.

I've also modified it to use more context-sensitive ads, so in a few hours, start a thread in The Wall about Nerf stuff and see what happens. :)

And -- $125.22 to answer your question. The way the payments work, you don't receive any money until the month after you hit $100. Then it can take up to 10 business days for them to process/cut/send the check. If we're lucky, we'll see something in early January.

Excuse the double post, but I wanted to give everyone a quick update.

As most of you know, we have already received a $112 check/cheque from Google. Since then, we have accumulated an additional $51.48.

We shoulda done this years ago. :)
