We had a couple of weird incidents tonigth. DingChavez was asking me about one when I brought it up.

1. Infinite flares on the blackhawk - (this is the one Ding was asking about). I have seen this on other servers but basically the blackhawk spews flares when you get a stinger/igla lock. I don't know if this is a hack or a bug, *but* I think it is a new exploit/cheat since not everyone can do (I have tried and am limited by the normal delay to reload flares).

2. Lt Dinglesworth (Danglesworth) sp? .... I pumped a full clip into him with the G36e (SpOps unlock) in the face. He was USMC support. When I was done and went to reload - he dropped me with one shot from the M249 and then another guy behind me. Not possible without cheat.

With every patch released by EA, many of the standing checks made by PB become obsolete. So, though I can't say these people were hacking, for sure; I can say there are surely more hacks out there now than just prior to v 1.2
Give it time, PB will release a new client update. Then EA will cause some issues by releasing 1.21, unless of course Evenbalance simply waits for that to hit the streets before updating anything.

Pup....I'm biting my tongue. But, I'll say this, for such an uber weapon, I see a total of 5 Support class players out of 40 on the server right now. On Sharqi too, a good map for support. 14 assault. Seems the new 'nade launcher is in process of being mastered. Now that's h4x indeed.

Sorry about the mid-air ram that I survived, Hicks. I was laughing about it with the guys on VOIP because I've never been on the lucky end of that before. It wasn't a hack, though.

1. Much appreciated, but you have nothing to apologize for when the game physics are screwed that badly. I filled your chopper from both turrets on the Blackhawk and then you came underneath, got the ram kill, *AND* did not explode as well --- was more than I could take. I should NOT have ranted like I did so I am sorry for that, very un-=VSF= behavior. I hope like most cases that very few people were reading chats and seeing me act like an a$$. I personally apologize to you, Vyg, and to VSF for being an embarassment.

2. I have gotten waaaaaaaaaaaay more invested in this game than I should as far as the temper goes. Anyone have a good way of not letting (what is suppossed to be) a fun game get you in such a foul mood?

I think the "infinite" flares may just be another graphic anomaly introduced by the patch.
Kinda like the disappearing projectiles.

Maybe, but the IGLA was tracking most if not all of the flares as though they were separate instances even after some of the first ones had faded on?
