So why isn't this thing working? and this being my first sig i never attached one to any previous posts. I've tried dozens of different variations, removing spaces adding quotes etc.... what gives?

Here try this you can ether quote this post to copy the format or you can remove the - from the first [img] tag.

Alright, as you can see i've got the text copied... and it still comes out as just text, it's like it's not being recognized as htlm coding.... so what gives?

Ah, make sure that you have BBCode turned on. when I turned it off with your sig in my profile i only get the BBCode and the URL.

thats gotta be it, if you need help with that as well just ask, and i say it has to be because we can recreate it here, hell ill put it in my sig to see if it works, and your code seems correct as is mine and naz's.

Checked, Always allow BBcode was already on. Gonna paste it here in the body of a msg to see how that comes out... When you guys look at my post do you see the actualy image or just the code? I was thinking it may just be to save bacndwidth it doesn't show me my own signature.. I got nothing else though.

Okay That tears it.. When I paste it at the bottom of a Msg it works fine, but when it is Specifically in the signature section it doesn't work. Is there some ghey policy that I can't have a working sig until I have enough posts?

nope no policy. When you create a new post is the check box for Disable BBCode in this post checked? Other then that Im at a loss. Have you tried to do a plain text sig for testing?

And now I have tried throwing in a random img, In this case the yahoo banner, and it doesn't show up either. now that i'm looking at it my avatar isn't showing up either (should be whatever the board default is). I have now renounced this problem and am leaving it at the feet of the board gods, I'm determined it's thier fault.

Ok I looked, In my profile and it definately says "Always allow HTML" ON. So what gives, why does it say when i'm posting that html is off?

I think this might be an admin thing, Now If only I knew who the admin was......

By the looks of it, you're trying to edit the wrong profile... rather the website profile than the forums profile... if that makes sense.

Go to the top of THIS page (the one you're looking at right now) and click Profile, and try editing your sig there.
