Hi, i've been playing on the 70.86.64.146:16569 VSFGamers.com BF2:SF RANKED server for a quite a while now, and i've always been following the rules, but it seems that there was a admin abuser on the server.

I've been kicked for being "whiney"
I have screenshots to prove that i was not, and i was asking why a admin would ban 2 members of (AWG) because of "low scores"

I then got warned saying stop being whiney.

I replied saying i'm not whining, then i got kicked saying im whining.

would someone please look into this matter, as i do not wish to report you guys to bf2rs, and i like playing on your server, and i do not really wish to find a new one.

Might I suggest not including a threat next time you want to bring up an issue? And the low score thing could have been the bot autokicking, if they had the red tag. Or someone else on the team had it and they repeatedly killed them. It happens. But that is up to the admins to research, just putting out some thoughts.

So you're saying the AWG guys did not have low scores? Like in the negatives?
As far as the whining thing, it's actually one of our rules. Personally, I've never been a fan of Rule #4; it just seems to encourage bad admin behaviour, with no real benefits. That said, every admin will get his panties in a twist, and if you can't tell when to toe the line, then might makes right. Usually, said admin will calm down (and if he's banning multiple people for whining, hopefully he'll try a little Tai Chi or something) and smooth over any real problem; we've got good guys at the helm, really.
It doesn't sound like you yourself have been banned, and I appreciate your concerns about admin abuse, but threatening to report us to some BF2 Oversight Organization won't get anything done. If you feel like you have an issue that could realistically be dealt with (as a stranger taking on a de facto 'old boys network'), PM one of the admins in the sticky thread and talk it out.
We're not bullies, but we do get grumpy.

I wasn't trying to threatening to report you guys, but i've had experience that someone would just delete the posts regarding admin abuse etc.

But as you said, i am not banned, just a bit disapointed in this matter.

Although i will rejoin the server, i will continue to look out about things like this.

The admins for the VSF BF2 servers are very reasonable, mature people, unlike many servers out there that have admins that kick/ban if you kill them too many times or take "their" tank, jet, helicopter, etc. Comments, questions, concerns will be dealt with fairly if presented in a reasonable, mature manner. See you on the servers.

sorry but who was admin? and all of us here are rather mature especially the admins, they are hand picked, i would know ;)

Suffice it to say, some people assume all bans are permanent (they're not; BF2CC has an unfortunate naming convention for such things) and therefore assume the admin is abusive and proceed to whine/argue about said bans.

Nothing more to see; move along.

Yeah, um, there's really no reason for anyone else other than the Server Admins or CoTTon to post to this thread.

First off, no one but the server admins need reply to anything of this sort.

Second, no one here needs question who was the admin. If you don't know, you weren't there and have no business speaking on the matter.

Thirdly, once stated, such discussions should be taken to PM. Community at large does not need to be involved and certainly does not need to make frivolous posts in the abuse section.

Any questions please read the section rules. We have plenty of places to spam.
