Because I respect the Administrators & Moderators of the server/boards here at VSF - I have chosen to comply with Angry. If you are just steping in now and have no clue whats going on - then this doesn't concern you - go away. (Unless if you are an Admin or Mod - then I'm sure someone can fill you in. As many of you know - I was resently accused of something - whether it be right or wrong - which still remains undecided, I appolizige for any inconvinience that I may of caused. (Nah - I'm not appolizing for the humor you might have had.)

Now I'm a person of truth - and I swear that I run no crack/hacks, PB can tell you as much. It autokicks on the sight of hackers/crackers, so I wasn't in that scene. I don't, will not, ever, use cracks. Now - this is my very first server that I have played on and have actually registered on the boards. This is the first board I've signed upto just for the game. I'm hoping it's not the first to be banned to either.

I am simply a person who moderates forums myself.

Listen, my nose got bent out of shape because I believed that SpongeBob unnecessarily "picked on" my my post as being inappropriate and I posted a knee-jerk reply. Knee jerk replies are always a bad idea. If it had been me moderating, I would have sent a PM or email to the poster. But that is beside the point, I'm not the moderator here.

Regardless, my nose is now straight. I apologize SpongeBob...you do a great job. Keep it up.

AK edited the other posts ahead of yours, I just didn't want the thread to turn into a discussion of hacks, as we are not a hacker community and I really don't think the populous wants to come across as so. The only error here was Zine not PM'ing an admin with his beef. I wasn't trying to "slap" you around Spence, I just wanted the thread to not become some how to discussion of hacks, which it hadn't yet become, I agree. Actually - on the same topic of hacks - I do admit that I use one. Strictly personal though. Does no harm to the experisnse of my play - or another persons. It's a simple trick that I created myself using the basics so that I don't need the CDROM in while playing. My drive doens't have to grab data so it doesn't waste time doing that to respond to the server - saves a little lag. Also - increases the life of my drive, and I can have my drive quieter for just that much longer. My discs are stored away for a "rainy day", tightly locked away.

This is how it works. Using secret tools that are 100% legal - I created a permanent Vdrive (A CD drive that doesn't exist - but the computer thinks it does.) And all it's doing is have a "virtual" disc in it. So if you look at my drives - even though I only have one drive in computer - it shows a second drive with the BF2 disc.

100% legal. 100% Safe. Effect no effect to anyone else.

HOWEVER I will not relinquish the information on how to preform this task. DO NOT ASK. DO NOT BRIBE. I will not, under any circumstances tell anyone (Including Mods & Admins!) So don't even say another word about this. You can't download it either. It's a long, painful task.

If you have ANY trouble with this, I can easily disable this feature, and go back to using discs. But that just makes a real Angry Kid. :wink:

Until I am paid equal to or more than my current job, I will perform admin duties as the rest of my life allows.

Everyone that works on/admins this site does so in their free time and for no gain other than in the number of people who dislike us.

Same for server admins and moderators. There is no benefit in any of this for any of us with the exception of knowing we are providing a great community a service and thereby, hopefully, making it more enjoyable for all.

You are free to leave if you don't like it.
