I just never got into ET and the Original BF seemed awkward in the game movement so both Jeff and I started playing some Strategy game called "Empires Dawn of the Modern Age", I think its called. A bit like Age of Empires. Then COD Came out and we both loved it so we were hanging out there until BF2 was released and we both found it so much better than the original. Now with COD on the horizon we are planning to pick that one up.

Funny though, nothing compares to the original Wolf, Jeff and I often laugh about how many hours we spent playing, I mean it would be 2am and I would still be there in a marathon game, who could quit when you would keep saying, oh just one more respawn and rush to the bridge, this time we will make it! :D

It will be great getting some of the original group back together!

Is there even servers running the original WOLF anymore?? I need Practice bad!

If you have All-Seeing-Eye, you can find about 500 RTCW servers out there....Naz is going to look through them and come up with a list of possibilities to 'invade' on our old skool night.

I love Age of Kings, and the Conquerors expansion.....great, great games.

Man, you just know that 10 months to the day after the anniversary Cowboy's going to be announcing the arrival of Cowkid #5.
Know what I did on my anniversary a couple of weeks ago? I went to the movies. Then out for dinner and drinks. Then played games for a couple hours. After that I went home and played online for about 3 hours.

Movies with my boss (we saw Serenity).
We then went to the bar we meet with our gaming buddies (tabletop, strategy, card games, etc.) and had dinner and beer.
After gettign home, wifey was sleeping, so I played BF2. :D

Next night had a dozen longstem roses, a couple bottles of wine, and chicken marsala made from scratch. I double booked myself a month and a half earlier, thinking that my anniversary was on Thursday, not Wednesday. Had my dates screwed up, was behind a day.

I don't know how many players I can host, probably around 32-40 but I don't think I could support 50 without getting too laggy.

Menzel, that would be just awesome......Naz and I didn't have any plans for a dedicated server, so this would rock. I think we're wanting to run a bunch of the classics - maybe some/all of the original stock maps, MG, NB, Tram, Ice, etc....
