TS Overlay Build 58

I just installed TS overlay and it seems to work with BF2.

you can download TSO build 58 here (http://www.teamspeakoverlay.com/).

To get TSO to work with BF2 goto Options> Debug tab and enable Use Alternative DirectX Method.

I think it is possible that if you forget to goto the options and choose alternate directx method you will be kicked by punkbuster for "multipledirect3dloaded" or something like that. Unless Deadmans wall hack was finally caught.

Happened to me. :cry: Guess I'll tinker with it this weekend.

A little bit more info here, sounds like you may get a error sometimes when exiting BF2.

When I exit BF2, I hear a couple of Windows error sounds but don't see anything. Then it feels like my computer is moving like molasses.

I installed TeamSpeak earlier in the week and it is nice to hear the background banter as the game goes on. However, installing TS Overlay is great because I can now see on my screen who (by player ID) is talking, which makes putting voices to players obviously that much easier. I would recommend anyone new like myself give TS and TS Overlay a try. It operated flawlessly for me...no problems on BF2 shutdown as noted in earlier posts.
