Difference between a warrior and a good warrior.
My 2nd Maraudon group the warrior (we actually had 2 but one was lower level) wouldn't stay on the same side of the fight where I could heal them from out of range of any AoE (princess farts). Two that kept running to the far side died. They were our 2 tanks. :( I survived and ran... a lot. Was able to get back and rez them. 2nd attempt on her was success.
First group had a great warrior (Kumate) that just waded in and stayed on the same side of the mobs as his beloved healer and kept an eye if I pulled aggro. Rarely had to heal the rogue or mages as he held aggro well.
Priests: (assuming 1 priest in group)
Heal your main tanks first and foremost.
Stay out of range of AoE.
Heal only as needed to reduce threat generated. Casting a lot of HoT's will generate a lot of threat and you will have issues. Shield also generates a lot of threat. Don't use in combat unless necessary.
Heal DPS guys as available mana allows. Finishing the battle with 100% health for everyone is not your goal. Surviving the battle and winning is. A win with 50% health when you're done is better than a defeat b/c your priest ran out of mana.
Refrain from doing damage. When things are fully under control and there is nothing else to do, use your wand to help do a little damage from range.
DPS classes, allow your tank to build up a little aggro before unleashing your major damage spells. Also try to concentrate on the mob your tank is working on. Hitting the ones that are on the fringe is just going to cause them to pull to you.
Generally speaking, it is best for the group to focus on one mob at a time (non-raid groups) and thin the group as fast as possible. There are times when the warrior is going to need to attack another mob to pull him off of someone else. Just concentrate on the "main" target while he does that.
a macro for /assist %T is nice for the DPS guys. Selec the tank, /assist %T and hit the same mob he is hitting.
