ive another thought not to change the subject but what about posting drops that we get that others may beable to use and selling or giving it to them if you dont need it. also kaga do you still need items for disenchanting as ive a few items that i could give

I'll always take uncommon crap you don't need to DE. There are also others in the guild doing enchant. Also remember you can AH them. So if you need cash, put them up.

But as far as items go, that's really up to each individual and how they want to handle it. If you have something to sell, post it, pm it, /w it, /g link it, whatever. Find a fair price and make a deal. Or just give it away. Whatever works for you and makes you happy.

If you're undecided, just send it to me. :)

No one should expect anything for free from other guild members. That's just too much to ask of anyone.

I just cancelled my WoW account last night; I've got about a week left. I understand that Blizz will never delete your characters, though, so one day I may be back.
A good idea for a guild bank, IMHO, is to collect unused gems like jade, malachite, and pristine black diamonds ( ). Also, you can't have too many star rubies for sniper scopes, either.
My guild was never organized enough to do these kind of things.

On Earthen Ring, I have one character that is just a mule/merchant for me. He plays the gem and cloth markets for profit (buy low, sell high) and also serves as a mule for all my other characters. That is, they all send the auctionable stuff to him to be placed on auction. In return, when they need money, he just sends it to them. This allows me to keep my skinner/leatherworker in the field for a long time collecting skins (if I bothered to farm for it). Most guilds adopt some form of guild-mule for this purpose. Also good for storing valuable items that may be usable by other/future guildmates or can be sold for the benefit of the guild.
