FWIW - this section is for registered users only. Non-registered users do not see this section so posting the password here should be fine.

Ah, cool. In that case, the server password is tony and there are a dozen and a half SA's so registering shouldn't be a problem.

Is this server using the same codec as Naz's and Ig's? The voices sounded a lot tinnier to me.

Sorry, didn't see this post until today. You can change the codec you're using in the TS settings, where you adjust your volume. Tinker, see which you prefer (they're all accepted by the server).

I believe the codec selection you speak of is for the local test. To change the servers selected codec an SA would have to "Edit Channel" and change the codec.

Er, um, yeah  whoops. Anyway, it's done and upped to speex 25.9. See if it makes a difference.

Looks like they're upgrading it. Got the email a couple days ago, missed it. I'll be trying to get it resolved asap.

Okay, fixed. New IP address is 74.54.205.231:9027 This is going to be the IP for when they release TS3 as well.

Chalybos
03-04-2010, 02:53 PM
In the event that anyone was on earlier and has an issue, below is an email detailing the problem and the fix:

I just got off the phone with Triton LLC (teamspeak.com) and they have now fixed the Blacklist issue that many of you were experiencing this morning.
The issue happens whenever we tend to do a mass server migration. We were told that this has been resolved with TeamSpeak 3 so that's great to know!

If you still cannot connect to your TeamSpeak 2 server and are still seeing a blacklist error, you will need to make a minor change on your end. Due to a small bug in the TS2 software, if you were connected to your server at the time of the Blacklist you will continue to see the message for up to 24 hours.

In order to resolve that, simply modify the time / clock on your computer to the day before now. Then connect to your TS2 server. This will fix the Blacklist bug that you continue to see. Once you have successfully connected you should be able to change your clock back to the proper time / day.

We sincerely apologize for this happening.

Please stay tuned for a TeamSpeak 3 related email which will be sending out over the next 24-48 hours.
