This little WoW film (http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.aspx?fn=wow-general&t=3070249&p=1&tmp=1#post3070249) is on the verge of becoming a legend. If you have not seen it, you have to. It gets funnier with multiple viewings as you notice little details... And the poker face with which they post this as a legitimate attempt in the WoW forums is just classic. Normally, I wouldn't post this kinda thing, but when I logged onto Xfire this morning, THEY had linked to it!

FWIW his plans sounded to be doomed too. Fearing or psychic screams in instances where it's tight with mobs is usually not good practice. When the feared mob comes near a docile one, the docile one will aggro back to the group.

I like how Leroy is AFK for the entire discussion. He just jumps up and charges in screaming! Well, at least he has chicken.

This weekend I actually had the Leroy experience...

I joined a pickup raid on UBRS and as we came to the entrance to the Rookery (the location of the infamous video taping). The inevitable Leroy jokes were made (e.g. "anyone have chicken?"). The raid leadership was not very strong and one of the members, a paladin, decides to wander off into the rookery. Figuring some sort of order was given (actual clear orders were rare throughout the raid), most of us follow just inside the door. This guy then wanders over and draws a couple of dragonkin and mashes a bunch of eggs in the process. The raid chat started spewing "omg he did a leroy", "we're gonna wipe", etc.. We managed to pull the offending mobs back out of the rookery to prevent more eggs from popping and recovered with only a couple of deaths.. it was mildly amusing.

On a side note, I think that the same paladin rolled on, and won, a chromatic scale - which are necessary for a particular quest for an uber-chestplate (http://wow.allakhazam.com/item.html?witem=12895). The instructions were clear - only roll if you are going to USE the scale. He later put it up for auction. Someone from the raid noticed and whispered him about it. He screenshoted the results and posted in the EarthenRing forum, exposing the guy for the jerk he is.

Full disclosure - I had accidently looted one of these scales (it has the same icon as a 'worn dragonscale') but turned it over to the raid leader when the error was pointed out to me. Amusingly, one guy wanted to kick me from the raid - in the middle of combat, while I still had the scale... moron... Though, in all honesty, I would have mailed it to the raid leader with an apology - it was a mistake and I had to own up to it.
