best way to make some cash quiclkly and leagly
I assume you mean in-game.. :P
This depends on your level and professions...
Skinning seems to be the most reliable profession at generating cash, but its not windfall money.. its steady...
My lvl60 skinner/leatherworking can grind on skinnables and generate cash and leather than can be auctioned. The leather can be vendored for less if you need cash right away, but its usually better to keep auctioning some every day to keep a regular flow of cash.
My tauren is not even lvl20 and the herbalism/alchemy is not lucrative.. There is competition for the herbs and a limited market for the potions. Its often better to just sell the herbs if you are trying to generate cash.

ive made the most money by selling skins and cloth at AH
i also noticed that the random drops you get from beasts in Hillsbrad seem to vendor for a nice price, like 2-5s each

i know it depends on the market but wht should you price your equipment or leather or what have you inside the AH versous what you could sell at NPC's
im not looking to farm to try and get cash but is it farming if you just go out and kill and skin for the leather to either make a bunch of stuff to sell and also to seel the leather. as i am doing this now to try and get some gold for the next level in my professions
in EQ2 it is considerd farming and gaining skill to create more often cost you more to make than you could sell them for so you grind and make them to get to the higher levels also leveling in your skills does not cost you money to gain the traning other than the purches of new recipies

check the AH for your item before you price it, if there isnt any on there, go by what it sets for you usually
I guess everyone has their own definition of farming. To my mind, if you are just grinding away on some creature for leather or loot - you are farming. The term farming has a bit of a negative connotation, but farming is not really a bad thing. It really is part of the game. There is no way to complete certain quests without just grinding away to get items. The same goes with farming to get leather to make some items to sell.
Where farming becomes a bad thing... if you are farming to get gold to sell for real life money... that's bad... mmm'kay?

see i dont belive it to be a bad thing eiter as it is the only way to get leather and other needed items. but also did not want to do it if it was considerd a bad thing. thant being said i have been grinding on any beast that i see for leather. i have started selling a couple 10 stacks in ah and will continure to do so to get a sdeady stream of income. wich i belive will help out down the road how many here use the bank just out of curiosity ?

i have the bank maxed out almost all the time- and i have purchased 2 bag slots (each with a 10 slot bag) as well. i keep leather there (for when i need to make something) as well as partial stacks of cloth, and other items i cant use yet or dont want to get rid of yet.
watch when you're selling on AH though, ive found it swells on weekends and its hard to sell normal cloth/leather for a decent price then. wait until tuesday or so, then you can sell it for a regular price since there wont be much else on there.

I've found this to be true as well... there are quite a few folks that only seem to play on the weekends, or perhaps its just that everyone that plays sporadicly during the week gets on. I dunno.. either way, prices seem to drop because the market is flush.
My bank is always at least half-full. Usually its overflowing and I am struggling to juggle stuff between my bags and the bank. As you gain levels you start collecting all kinds of things, like keys, that get repeated uses. So, now you gotta hang onto things... which eats up bank slots...

Get Auctionit from curse-gaming.
It really helps for your repeat auction items like leather, cloth, potions, metal, etc... that your harvesters/producers put out.
It will recal the per item value you sold them at last and enter that information when you drop the item into the AH. So if you sell 1 silk cloth for 2s, when you drop 10 in, it will create the autcion for 20s.
It is always good practice to search for your item in AH before you sell. Undercutting the competition is actually going hurt everyone in the long run.
Oh, and it is starting to work out with shmee producing and kaga gathering. I quest and gather with kaga and pass it to shmee. Shmee is now selling stacks of 5 greater defense potions and greater healing potions for 1.5g +.
Another thing to try is putting items in with a buyout and then w/o. Bidding wars can happen for good blue weapons so it's often best to try them w/o a buyout. Items you sell often seem to work best with a buyout.
