ok its a MEDIUM pop server, why am i starting out at #450+ in line to get in?

anyone else having problems? i say screw it, ill go play something else.

EDIT: ok checking http://worldofwarcraft.com/realmstatus/ shows that there are now only 2 server populations: Low or MAX (Queued). LAME. they better offer guild transfers to a new server or ima be pissed.

A lot of other servers are down and people are invading those that are up.

i really dont want to start a new character, i just got to lv21, which is what my first toon was when i switched!

Don't panic.. they are having some server issues with the new patch. Both the servers I play on (Earthen Ring and Eldre-thalas) are currently down. I have no doubt they will be up by the morning. Maybe Blizz will give us a day credit.. they've done it before.

I really wanted to check my auctions before bed.. ohwell..

I was one of the MANY that created a noob on Eldre last night as my Illidan server was down with no ETA all night. Found Kagasan and made him guild me ;) I knew many peeps were creating new toons just to pass time while their servers were down simply b/c the noob towns were overpopulated and people spamming the general channel with server ETA verbage.

server transfer?
Yes, Blizzard has opened some overpopulated realms up for transfers to other underpopulated realms. You don't get your choice of servers, however, it's one particular server to another particular server. Check www.worldofwarcraft.com. Also, I don't think the server types are ever different (like PvP to non-PvP); it's purely a measure to ease the population crises on certain big servers. I've seen somewhere that they're considering freeform server transfers at some point down the road, but I'm very skeptical.
Wait, it's broken at the moment.
Also, I do believe we've been credited 2 days.
