We decided that due to a lack of players to let her die. After the PB update before last that caused server crashes right and left people never came back. Wolf players are just too picky and lazy for the game to survive much longer.

That's a shame. I (like many others here) fell out the Wolf loop long ago. Plus, with the nature of the game - high-speed close quarters combat - I was finding it hard to play on servers in the US with the ping differences I was trying to contend with.
Are there any other games you guys are moving on to that could resurrect the server?
For the server to have thrived for so long is a great accomplishment. They tend to come and go all too quickly. Thanks for the literally years of hosting RTCW. Even though I haven't played it in a long time it was good to know that at least part of that old community was still alive. Hopefully there will be something else on the horizon for you to host.

We prolly wont til RTCW2. Most TBARs play WoW now. I think a lot of other players went to that game as well. Ill hang out at HP til RTCW2 comes out. Somtimes Jolt.
Sad to hear of its demise, but like so many others, I haven't played RtCW for quite some time. This kinda makes for a final break with the game.
RtCW was my introduction to MP online gaming. I recall my first time logging onto some server and running around lost, with no clue what my skills were and what I supposed to do other than kill the enemy. I was a complete n00b. But it was addicting - I spent 8 hours straight gaming that first day - mostly on mp_beach. My mouse-hand hurt when I finally stopped. I was hooked. Up until WoW, no game has matched it for initial experience.
One can only hope that release of RtCW2 will enable us to relive the experience again.

Dang. That was an awesome little server...
IS there going to be any other games on it? (ET, maybe?)

Great Job and Thanks BB!
I visit some RTCW servers and play, but like everyone else...have started to migrate away from RTCW and ET. Can't wait till RTCW II!! I will definitely be there.
Once again..Great Job!
