last night i was reading on the WoW site (while our server was crashing/reseting) about how to take better screenshots, and they said to hide the UI and take off player names if possible. Alt+Z is the UI toggle, not a problem. but they said to use "unitnamerendermode 0" in the console to toggle names, which i can't get to work. you can also do it from interface options, but that is too slow. i'm trying to setup a macro to do it so i hit that one button and it hides names and the UI, then snaps a pic, then brings them back.

they neglected to mention that you have to add "-console" to the shortcut to even access the console (i had to google to find that out).

any ideas? i searched the forum but it didnt seem to come up with much.

Just started looking into this last night. I'll post if I find anything. I have the keystrokes for it. Just a matter of creating the macro.

NM, this guy is doing it already.

no, i think it is either not up-to-date with the new patches, or its more complicated than running it's install program.

Try typing /cleanshot or making your macro with that command.
