For those of you who play MMORPGs or are thinking about playing some of the new ones coming out, I wanted to start a poll to see which games the VSF crew will be playing.
I know Roc_ketboy is probably heading towards WoW, I remember Naz talking about it as well. There's also a few threads in the "other" games section regarding EQ2, WoW, and Guild Wars. As i'm pretty much done with City of Heroes, I might wanna try another MMO but wanna see where the VSF people are leaning towards.

Was thinking of EQ2, but for $20 a month they can **** my ginourmous ****stick. After a year, you spent about $240 alone for privileges, and another ~$60 for the game.
F and That.

I guess I shouldn't have put the "None" option as most people here don't play MMO's which is why i asked for those who play them or are thinking of playing them.
Im going to start up Star Wars Galaxies again soon.

Middle-Earth Online (http://www.middle-earthonline.com/)! Then of course there is the going-to-be-godlike Dungeons & Dragons Online. Why are these always forgotten? i mean really, Turbine customer service pwnz0rz SOE's customer service anyday, and thier games tend to involve more innovation.

if i pick one up, it will be WoW. however, i doubt the checkbook will allow with all the awesome console goodness coming out before the end of the year!

Guild Wars is the only I'd consider.

I'm only heading toward WoW simply b/c of RL friends are gaming it.
I finally quit Shadowbane after 1.5 years (its a pure Player Kiling / sieging game for those who dont know) - I need something refreshing and Wow looks like the way to go for now after viewing it first hand. Although I cant stand carebear games where all you do is hack mobs all day, Wow at least provide some PK experience.
And EQ2 is $20 a month???? PFFFTTT

It isn't $20 a month, it's $15 for EQ2 and if you play other SoE games, you can sign up fort he ALL GAME PASS for $22 dollars. So you have SWG, EQ, EQ1, Planetside, and more

So who's getting WoW tomorrow?
As for City of Villians, Don't expect that to be here til at least next year. They are currently testing out the 2nd mass update with Issue 3 for City of Heroes.

i would get WoW but after buying GTA:SA, HL2, and MGS3 this month, im over budget :(
besides, if you wait a bit for a MMORPG, you can usually get some bugfixes in first ;)

Yeah, i think i'm going to wait awhile to get the bugs fixed. I really like the new additions they made to CoH so i'll be playing that for a couple of more months. By that time, there will be a few VSFers i know that will probably have a max player who can power level me :p

WoW 4TW!!!
Having a blast with it. So addicting. When you're tired of grinding, you can go hunt for some PVP.
