my sig is like this
"I moved here from Canada and they think I am slow Eh" (http://www.pusboil.com/simcanada.wav)
so I take it yours should read
http://www.weekendcampers.com/fg/fgsig.jpg
just the funky way things work
(you may have to quote the code to see it in its code form)

You might notice that when you are creating a new psot, it says "HTML is off" to the bottom left of the text input box. You will have to follow BBCode, which is what this forum uses. Check it out here (http://www.vsfgamers.com/modules.php?name=Forums&file=faq&mode=bbcode). Or just quote Monty and copy the code he has used to display the image.

no prob, get that crap worked out. nothing is worse than a boring looking thread! GET SOME COLOUR IN THERE *****!
Make sure only ONE item is checked in the options beneath the type field. Only check "Attach signature" and leave all the others blank (unless you have something against smilies). And make sure in your profile the same things are checked or unchecked (what Lion said, BBCode/HTML needs to be ON).
your code looks fine, it's one of those settings that are screwing you.

for some reason if I copy and paste it into the post it works, but not as a sig....
I need a nap. I can see at the bottom of this it says HTML is off
BBCode is on
Smilies are on
in my profile I have html off and bbcode always allow.
Shall I get my custom dunce cap now or later?

your code is right...
it probably says beside your sig section this...
HTML is OFF
BBCode is ON
make sure you have the following set to yes below the sig section
Always attach my signature: Yes
Always allow BBCode: Yes
Always allow HTML: Yes
(the last one is key I think)
I just tested it on my sig with your pix and it worked like a charm... if that doesn't do it... I have no other suggestions)

Weird. :?
On your "post reply" screen, make sure that all boxes under the text input box are unchecked, apart from "Attach signature (signatures can be changed in profile)", which should be checked.

the only thing that is checked is attach signature, but no luck as of yet

How big is the pic? Could that make a difference? I doubt it. But worth asking.

Re Hick's suggestion: The forum guidelines state a signature image should be no deeper than 140 pixels - your image is 146. However, I don't know if images can be automatically blocked if they do not meet the requirements. You could maybe try resizing it to 140 high, see if it works then.

I logged on as you furious, and set the image to one from my webspace which I resized a little (though it looked like it was in the right parameters... dropped it into the sig section and it seems to come up on my machine, but I wonder if that is because it is in my cache... can others see his sig now... if so... you should just be able to redirect the sig to one on your webspace or something
