Got this quote from an unofficial site, so take it for what it is...

"Hey Guys,

Just wanted to give you a heads up that the demo is going to be available this week! As I've seen on some sites already, Friday is the target date to have it available, specifically by noon Pacific Time, but give or take a bit as this baby is going to be H-U-G-E!!

Details are still coming in, but here's what I know so far.

1) This is a single player demo
2) This will be the Henderson Field level. (Think E3)
3) System specs are below:
RECOMMENDED CONFIGURATION
Windows XP
2.0+ GHz Intel Pentium IV or AMD Athlon processor
512 MB RAM
ATI or Nvidia card with 128+ MB video memory

Here's a great excuse for anyone looking to upgrade! That's all for now. I'll send out more as I get it.

A Henderson Field level? That's cool. Even BF1942 doesn't do some of the truly interesting battles.

The Japanese would shell Henderson Field during the day, and overnight the Marines would fix it to the point where it could resume air ops the next morning.
