|FF| clan on VSF/DC

Angry Kid gave this clan the boot last night. Banned for an amount of time I am not certain of.

First off one member of the clan, |FF| Just Dave, I believe, accused me of using a "Radar Hack" Which I had to promptly ask the folks on TS just what that meant. Then, in the following round, we find this same guy using a wall exploit that allowed him to see and shoot out from within a wall on Basrah's Edge, near the first takeable flag by the Coalition untakeable. NV, AK and I all spec'd him, there was no question what he was doing. AK pointed it out, warned him, then the whole clan went nuts with bad language and the usual string of stupidity. So, keep an I out, the ban was not perminent, I don't believe. AK can correct me, of course.

A one-week time out, so they can sit and think about what they've done. If they behave, they can come and play again. :x

I've never known of/seen that map exploit on BE before - similar to the Lost Village exploit. For those of you that don't know, at the takable flag closest to the Coalition main base, there is a building to the south of the flag with a set of stairs that lead up to a balcony with an ammo box. Somehow, JustDaveyboy was inside the building, shooting and nade spamming anyone who got close. I could see his red tag, but I couldn't see him then BANG. Death from nowhere.

There was a bit of OMGTEAMS!!! when the 3 of us changed sides to spec him. He justified his H4X by saying SB was using a 'radar hack' to kill him (because SB caught him sneaking up with a knife) and accused NV of "turning off PB" to allow all our H4Xing.

They were so 1337, that was obviously the only way we could have been whupping them. :roll:

In retrospect, I should've made the ban permanent. I can't help it that I'm such a nice guy. :very mad:

That exploit has been out a LOOONG time, and it's strange that BE seems most susceptible to it. Me and Scarlet screwed around with it a while on BE, several VSF DC server iterations ago. It kind of amazes me that more people don't know about it or use it; I guess it's too blatant to be used unless you're valiantly fighting 'radar hacks' and an admin conspiracy.

PERMANENT. Let them come and plead their case if they want to come back. If not, let them screw around on somebody else's server.
