I secretly lust for an Apple. Don't get me wrong. I love fiddiling with the hardware side of PCs, like working on cars for me. But it probably because I've never used a Mac and are not familar with them. I guess I crave the knowledge to use another platform. Maybe a notebook in the future if I can find the justification for getting one...

Never limit yourself to one platform if you can help it. Most OS's have it's advantages/disadvantages over each other and have their place.
