View Full Version : GtkRadiant 1.4.0 running stable on Panther!

After false hope last fall that Radiant was going to be workable using X11 on Jaguar they finally have a stable version up and running. It takes a lot to get it going, you have to install the Dev Tools, X11, and Fink. Then it took, I kid you not, six hours to DL, compile, and install Radiant-- but I've been running it pretty much all day for two weeks without a hitch.

I've been developing for wolf, but it you can also do Quake. Hopefully they'll be adding support for the other mac compat Q3 engine games soon. Anyway, tis cool.

A map based on the Tongue Sands sea fort. It's very small-- I'm trying to use it to learn the app, get the mistakes over. Should be done by the end of the week. I'll put a link or at least screenies up in the RTCW section when it is ready for beta - that section could use a post or two. :)
