dude, download Photoshop 7.0. This way, you can make it whatever size you want, and chop little eyes of Cheesy Goodness all over it.
or whatever.
Or you could install Powertoys for XP and be able to right click an image and resize it to what ever size you want. Really hand for a quick and dirty resize.

Look for Image Resizer on the right.

Photoshop Elements is a good program. Though a little pricey, it's a LOT less regular photoshop. You can crop and resize images, and add cool effects and stuff.

its not that i dont have a photoshop style program. its that i cant host the images. everytime i try i get "unreadable format" style messages. i have this thing called adobe photodeluxe.it can do everything i want it to but the format isn't one supported by any hosting site/the gallary. there for i am screwed.

When you edit your pictures, what format do you save them in? Photo deluxe can save them in supported formats.
If the only option is gives you is PSD (or other oddball extension), then flatten the image before you save it to GIF or JPG.

Click on "Layer" at the top and choose either "Flatten Image" or "Merge Layers."

hehe, yeah if you save something in Photoshop it will save under .psd (source file). Just make sure you do a Save As, choose the extension as jpg and you'll have the jpg version as well.
