So I am making a dish, a kind of cabbage wrap thing. THe idea (yes I am trying to invent this myself, so be prepared for explosions) is to take a cabbage leaf and wrap up stuff inside it. I am thinking Eggplant, squash, possibly chicken (small amount), carrot and tomato in layers. Wrapping it up into a nice shape and baking it in the oven in a water bath to keep it moist for like 25 minutes. Possibly wiht olive oil inside as well.
I need a nice sauce to go on top. Any ideas? I got a nice Calphalon sauce pan for my birthday last month and am eager to use it.

You probably want to go with a tomatoe sauce, now a chunky or smooth is up to you.And flavourings as well.Is this all veg.?And when do you need this?

(su-meshi is the rice, it's not just rice, also has sugar, rice wine vinegar and salt in it)
