found an even better one to be put into 150x175 ( i know how to resize these but i still cant host 'em yet)

Then resize & UL the avatar to the forums.

detailed instructions would be appreciated, i dont know where to start.

Go to your profile (Link at the top of the forum pages that says Profile)

Scroll to the bottom. find the box that says upload avatar from your machine.

Click on the Browse button. Find the image on your hard drive that you want to be your avatar. Click Open.

Now hit submit.
