Custom Maps?

Any chance of some other custom maps? I know some customs didn't work well on CCM because of the 50 player max size, but they may work better on this server with less people.

Some customs I'd like to see:

Bunker SE
Airstrip SE
Schwalbe
UFO

Any game where it is only 2 on 2 is boring IMO. I unfortunately get the feeling that it could be a nostalgic reflex for some people to play but the overall popularity of RTCW may be gone. It might come down to the server being used to primarily host some other more popular game with the occasional night of RTCW. Time will tell...

It may take a while for a little RTCW community to spring up. If you get a good rotation, and with the great pings people are getiing on it, it will start to fill up. Give it a little time!

Make it a 24/7 Tram server and I'll become a hermit living at home playing full time :)

It may take a while for a little RTCW community to spring up. If you get a good rotation, and with the great pings people are getiing on it, it will start to fill up. Give it a little time!

Hey, when I get ready to start gaming, I check to see what server has how many folks on it. If a server's empty at 10-10:30, it probably won't fill up, so I'll go where the bodies are. That being said, I'd much rather play Wolf than CoD. :D So put in whatever you want for the rotation. I'll come and visit, complete with poorly timed airstikes and badly thrown dyno.

I was amazed that there were ppl on there during the day on the weekend... depending on the number of people on... some of the maps are still really fun... though as mentioned 2 x 2 is really redundant on some of the big maps/dual objectives... get your @sses on the server ppl

Airship is a huge single objective map that came out last fall. I hadn't ever played it but once I did I liked it and decided to throw it on there. Download it and give it a test run. If people don't like it then it won't get into the rotation.

I downloaded and tried this Airship map and it is very difficult for either side. Difficult meaning that teamwork is an absolute must. Why? Because in order to complete either teams objective, there is a switch that must be activated for Allies (a ramp that goes out to the airship, waaaay up in the sky) and for Axis (extends a ramp/platform across two huge gas tanks) and be timed so teammates can get across to blow up their respective objectives. Or to defend if they enemy gets that far.
After a certain amount of time, ramps/platforms for Allies/Axis retract and the switch must be pressed again.
Looks to be a most excellent map that could break teams into squads to handle certain aspects instead everyone runniing around willy nilly.

We should all download this map and give it a good run through! I think it would be most excellent.

Sponge reminded me of a good one today. Remember Vemork from one of the FOGs? It was the night that a worm attack was happening so the lag was awful. I think that attack was the only reason but we may never know unless we get some people on the server and load it up. ;)
