already did, already liked
OK I know this game is just a total frag fest but the Convoy map PWN's. You are riding a one of a couple trains that are in a convoy racing across the desert and one team has to protect some missiles from being captured. Sunday afternoon I had a blast playing this map. If you have only installed the demo and played the main map give this map a try you will love it.

My buddies, the <W> boys, were talking about getting the retail version when it comes out this month. Kind of Halo-ish, I must say. Artemis would enjoy this game; Too bad he's not here. Anyway, we have a demo server running right now, but I'll probably wait 'til I get my hands on the retail version before I get into it.

ART and I are not the same- ART is just tired of online gaming. Most of the old timers from CCM know ART is my boss - we work together!!!

well, the car will have a Maria reprieve for at least 6 months. 2 nights ago and yesterday she had a medical problem and the doctors told her its against the law for her to drive now for at least 6 months.
This is one of the reasons why i'm in a particularly bad mood. I can't sleep from fear that it might happen again and I'll not wake up if it does.
She had seizures early monday morning while we were sleeping and at the hospital around 3 or 4.
So, she can't drive for a bit, which is good because now I can get it fixed. Have to rent a car anyway for emergencies, which sucks, but something that has to be done.
anyway...blah blah blah
going back to attempt to sleep at my desk.

yeah, i'm not tooooo particularly worried about it. the neurologist said she's not epileptic and just had some seizures. she's had them before a few years ago, but i've never seen a seizure in real life before monday morning.
it was completely freaky and weirded me out. I don't think I've been so scared. I mean, I've been scared going to and being in Yugoslavia, in a car wreck that was in slow motion, even one of those times when you're with your grandfather and he falls because he lost blood pressure. But this is different for some reason. Maybe it was the way it happened and what actually happened. I freaked. Was not calm whatsoever. I'll never get any sleep this week i can feel it.

I know the first time I saw someone go into one it freaked me out completly...cause I caused it!! I was blitzing as a(grade 10) free safety and buried my helmut into the chest of the running back and wham!!! Scared me ,I thought I killed..turns out he was epilptic and did not tell people (coach's )

I hope she's okay. Did they give you any suggestions as to what you should or shouldn't do in the event of another? I had an epileptic dog; he bit my hand in a seizure when I tried to get his tongue out of the back of his throat. I thought he would swallow it, but he was fine. I had to wait for the seizure to end before I could pull my hand out of his mouth. I advise you not to do the same, could cost you a digit. Also, you might want to move anything with sharp edges from around the bed, ie. nightstand, heavy lamps, etc. Also, make sure some people at her work know about it. She may not want them to know about it, but at least make sure they have your work/cell number. I hope both of you can get some rest.

I just found out something really cool about UT 2004, you can play 2003 servers without any problem.

Hey, here's hoping for her speedy recovery. As for Bokchoi's observation... I thought UT2K3 and UT2K4 were pretty much the same except 2K4 has vehicles, but didn't realize that it was backwards-compatible. Hmm... Does this mean that maybe 2K4 could've been released as an add-on instead of a full-on game on its own? Anyway, I love driving the Manta, but so far I haven't had the greatest gaming experience with the UT crowd. What a bunch of s***-talking jerkoids! I could kind of tolerate little kids being smarty pants, but some of the racist and homophobic comments made by who were supposed to be grown-ups were pretty shocking. On one server there was this father-son team that was on the built-in voice chat that kept saying things like "Take that n*****'s head off, dad" and "There is a sniping f** on the tower" to each other, which turned me off completely. Voice communication may be a good idea for close friends and such, but random strangers sharing the same channel may not have been as good an idea. It's a shame, really. Otherwise it would've been a fun game to play.

See, you thought you were on a clan server, but it was really a Klan server. BTW, the morons you meet online in fragfest games tend to be, well, let's just say of an immature caliber.
