Northwood vs Prescott

My new delly dell will be here next week. I plan to pick up a 2.8ghz P4. But I noticed over @ newegg that there is a prescott and a northwood. So, i did some investigation.

Looks like it's an old school northwood for me.

Anyone have any VSF geek opinions on this at all?????

did you not get a 2.8ghz w/ your system? why would you buy a brand new dell and then immediately void your warranty and spend extra cash to upgrade it?

cuz theres two versions of the 2.8 now the 2.8 C and 2.8 E the E is the prescott and C is northwood
