Man, this thread just made my day......some great memories. Those MG marathons, so many good players now gone :cry: but....many of them are still here :D

I'll never forget the Clay [Subway] game.....that was in the very early MG days, when we had 64 players.....a medic on the main street would be running a non-stop business for 2, 3, even 4 or more hours. I joined this game, played an hour or two in futility as an engie, quit to eat dinner, and came back to the same friggin game....

Clay would rip off quotes like 'he gets his might from a veggie delite' constantly.....him and Gasser gunning for the first to break a 1000 when somebody got lucky w/ a plant. That is the only time I ever saw Clay Henry....he dissapeared into the mist, leaving a unique legacy.

Those FOGs, particularly the first several, were very memorable as well.

You could always count on ammo from Aleph. His ping was usally pretty high, so he was content to hang out on the bridge and dispense ammo to everyone like hungry little kittens waiting for their milk.

Sometimes he would be right in the middle of the pack score-wise and never fire a shot. Vaporizer was actually banned during the very first FOG. His ping was shooting sky high and blaimed the server. Despite repeated warnings, he ranted on and... well... now you know the rest of the story.
