I've made 3 banana bread for the past 2 months, I like them banana bread but I want a different recipe and my gf doesn't like nuts of any sort.

The recipe that I'm using right now is from food tv networks.

Anyone (/winks puppy) have any things that I can add in the recipe or have another recipe that will make it out of the ordinary?

to spice it up so to speak.. you can add different types of chocolate , peppermint chips. Or substitute 1/4 of the banana with pineapple, cranberries....lemon or lime zest brings a nice flavour

I prefer lemon zest myself. Has a great aroma to it too.

Get yourself a zester and use 1/2 to 1 full lemon's worth of zest.

zest = just the outermost layer of the rind. Go too deep and it's really fiberous <that a word?> and will leave strings in your bread. ;)
