Played my first round of RtCW in about a year today... it was nice to see Buz over at the Konijn beach server. In my early days, I played there all the time.

Saw Lead Mag, MASH and Sponge, but I must not have used my extra strength deodorant today because they left as soon as I showed up... played under my King Arthur name and had fun exchanging Python lines with the less knuckely of the heads over there.

My config was royally screwed up. I never put my old configs back in after I re-installed. Needs some work before I venture back out.

Yea, we jumped on briefly after trying out several BF servers.

I locked up twice - PB related - so I couldn't be bothered with a third try.

Only after I quit, I checked ASE and saw the old King Arthur name.

I got some intermittent sound loops, but would clear after a few seconds... rarely did they occur when I was in the respawn que... :roll:

It was probably PB checking my client... someone remind me how to set it to manually update vs. auto...

I reloaded the game a few months back. Took me over 2 hrs. to tinker to get everything the way i wanted it. Was able to find my old config and it worked first try.

Sorry I missed playing with ya, Beach, though fun, doesn't hold my attention all that long, but I can't say I'm sad to have missed the Python lines. :P

The Python fest lasted only a couple minutes really... some guy in the war room who I don't even know threw a couple lines out and I replied. It got really hectic and I was rusty and my configs were all messed up. I spent more time re-binding keys in the console than chatting...

Makes me ache for an Old School wolf night though... Market Garden, Beach, Castle, BREAKOUT!!! Doesn't matter.

I just started playing RtCW more often recently in the last couple weeks, especially at Konjins's. I love beach.
