This game seems fairly popular. Is it a wolfie replacement?

Hi,

I've been burned on the last few games I've purchased, looking for a good shooter. I thought chaser was a good single player, but the multiplayer was so small.

I loved RTCW, but I didn't much care for MoH:AA multiplayer because MoH seemed so...dumb I guess. Everyone in different uniforms, and just fragging every thing. I never found a marathon market garden in a MoH match.

I like BF42 desert combat, but I'd much rather play wolfie, though not many people are playing these days..

What kind of shooter is Call of Duty? I was thinking of hitting best buy tonight and picking it up.

Any opinions would be nice.

I bought it.

I've just played some multiplayer.

I'm not sure I'm down with this one death stuff - staying alive has never been a successful tactic of mine.

The death match...it's just gunfire, no one says anything.

Are there any objectives like blowing up a watertower?

There are objective modes called "retrieval" and "search and "destroy". PM Nazgul for his TS server info so you can chat as you frag on the VSF CoD server.

there also should be a patch coming out soon (we've all been waiting as patiently as possible for it) that will have a respawnable objective mode called headquarters. See Soterions thread in this forum to read up on it.
yes the one life stuff takes getting used to, but if y ou stick with it you'll find how intense and fun it can be!

I found it by googling you.

I went to old CCM site to see what was new, and found it had been shut down.

So I typed in JTFAZZ Wolfenstein, and this site showed up.

I'm glad I found it :)
