COD Cheats??

I noticed the other night on ANOTHER server that one guy just seemed to really be able to make kills that even seemed impossible when watching the Kill Cam.

I had heard this game does not have punk buster to help.

So COD Guru's since I never employ the cheats, what kind can I expect from other players? Aimbots, is there really one? what else?

Really enjoy the game though, I never really got into Battlefield ( I really tried) but this one I enjoyed immediately and it's so great gaming with everyone again!

It's possible that the person you ran into was using cheats... Wall hacks and aimbots were already out within a week of the game's release, if I remember correctly.

I downloaded and tried checked out the available hack/trainer for multiplayer CoD after i had experienced quite a few questionable deaths by watching the kill cam (obviously i tried it on a private server). What i downloaded had roughly 8 or so available cheats that could be toggled with the Function keys. This is what was available in this hack that i can remember off the top of my head

-Some combination of bright green/red colors for differentiating between friend and foe easily.

-A no fog hack that turned off all fog effects allowing you to see clear across the map (the perfect reason for how the hell the kill cam shows a big arrow labeled 'you' and all you see is an empty fog bank)

-A revamped cross hair that was bright red, small and non pulsating.

- The ability to toggle either textures or gamma or whatever on and off turning the map pretty much black and white.

-A 'zoom' mode brought things over 50 percent closer (it kind of distorted the playing field a bit, but combine that with the no fog and you can pick someone off all the way across the map.)

There were others but these were the major ones. Theres alos rumor of wallhacks being available but no aimbots yet. Heres a few pics i found showing the cheats .....not sure if these are 100 percent valid pics but they seem legit. The ones that have green/red people appears to be a mix of the hack i found and a wall hack, while the pic thats in german is a shot of someones killcam showing the killer obstructed by a bush.

The red dot cursor is/was available to download from the UGC server by turning the allow_downloads on - assuming it's the same one.

Simply put, hacks are for no-skill losers who are tired of getting their asses handed to them in a fair fight and have to resort to cheating in an attempt to regain some of their shattered self esteem. Perhaps if their parents had spent more time teaching them about self respect and less time pimping each other for crack money, they might actually try to play and win a game based on skill alone.

This thread isn't about whether cheating is right or not, its about the existence and use of cheats/hacks. To sum up, there are definately cheats/hacks available. The types of cheats vary quite a bit. Fahey tested one but I've heard of another cheat package that also does a variety of cheating and has a built in menu to activate the cheats as desired.

Expect the worse until Activision implements some sort of anticheat software in a future patch. From what I've been able to figure out, they are working on something new rather than just patching PB into the code, but I have not looked into it in over a week so there may be more recent news.

Duly noted. I hope they come out with something that keeps the playing field even; I get whupped fast enough when I do play without somebody using hacks. :cry:

Wow, thanks Fahey!! This is definately a help, at least I know my enemy a bit more Now. And how DOC is doing all that cheating :D :D :D
