DesertShield was a blast! The Coalition had some great teamwork going on. An outpost would be overtaken, and two tanks and a heli. would come roaring in. I'd like to give props to the engineers on the Coalition for going out of their way to help repair us. It really helped out a lot.
I think that that round proved that good teamwork can really help win a match.

this is rather off topic, but ive notice that Desertshield is El AL on its side. if you were to take desertshield and flip it so that the Opp. base is in the west, it would be just like El Al.

how do you figure?

All the terrain is completely different. If you mean if you rotate the map 90 degrees then it's the same because the opposition/coalition main flags are in the same place as in El Al? Then yes, perhaps you are correct. But if so, the mapper completely leveled everything, angled the map, then pulled up new terrain, thus making it a completely different map.

yeah if ya angled it 90 degrees, not only would the main spawns be the same. but the takeable flags would be the same too. and some basic terrain features. mountains behind both spawns(in Opp. case it sounds the base) mountain range in the middle, and relatively flat land in between.
