One kill games

You know, at first I wasn't sure what to think of it, but I really think this is a cool way to go for the server games, it adds a lot of tactics into this, as well as suspense if you're team is down to its last soldier!

I love OLTL games. Stems from our original QII mod upbringings leading the way to Wolf.

OLTL or even limited lives simulates the battle a bit better, since players are encouraged to stick together and discouraged to run-and-gun. CoD has a definitely different gameplay and pace than Wolf, and for some people I guess that's a welcome change. As for me, I can't quite put my finger on what it is, but I think CoD MP is just so-so. Especially on sniper-happy maps like Brecourt or Hurtgen, I tend to suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck.

Yeah that is a good server ..No scoped rifle, I run into Doc. there a bit in the morning before work.

This other one called EUMC(all in yellow) allows only 2 sniper , and 2 machine guns per squad the rest rifles and on sundays it's rifles only....I like that style(when I find IP I'll post it)

Well how does this sound....a rotation with 3 search and destroy maps played(7 rounds each map) , then one 15 min. tdm. 2 retrieval (chateau and ship).....and 1 BEL (15 min.) a little of everything but concentrating on the teamwork aspect of one life objective mode....this would take about 2 1/2 hrs. to do this rotation ......the OLTL rounds are short and it is a blast to trash talk and laugh when your dead... :lol:

Ignoring the humorous intentions of this post I would like to note that I have not found a demo-recording facility built into CoD. Am I missing it? If its not there, then Gollum's demand for NV to make a demo was kinda stupid (ok, it was stupid anyway - but you know what I mean).

It's there, Puppy and i had some guy make a demo when CoD came out and this guy was shooting us thru trees, under rocks...and nothing but headshots. His kills quickly diminished once he stated he was making a demo for us to watch. I guess Rogue knows how to do it, he said it was like RTCW, or at least to watch the demo. I launcehed the demo out of the CoD game

I think recording a demo involves two console commands. First you initialize by typing g_synchronousclients 1 then record 'file name'. Hm, I wonder if my Wolf demo recording script will work with CoD. Unless they changed that part of the Quake 3 code, it should work.

Well, there is 'mate' in "team," and keeping your buddy in mind (to quote the dude in CoD's single player) is part of teamwork, no? Then again, there is also 'meat' and 'eat' in "team."

you can EAT MEAT with your TEAM all you want but leave ME out it. I'd rather be fighting with my TEAM.
