here is my abridged translation:
"News 12/24/03
In Japan at the TRONSHOW 2004, new computer resolutions (meaning word for new products brought forward through innovative research) were shown. Most interesting was teh T-Cube.
The (the computer guts, i don't know computer technical terms, so I just say "guts") is made by both T-Engine and NEC and is the smallest computer processor/motherbaord to date. It measures 52mm x 52mm x 45mm and weighs 165 grams.
The technology uses a MIPS processor that runs 400 Mhertz, 64Mg video and 128mg of ram. The T-Cube has a Compact Flash card technology with a 1.1 USB port, an RS-232C (whatever that is), an ethernet adaptor and an audio card with input and output.
The T-Cube allows you to input an image by D-Sub with a screen resolution of 1280x1024 (i don't know what that means, "put in an image by D-Sub"). The Operating System is unique and was made by T-Kernel (they call it the T-Shell).
It [T-Cube] comes out for sale in March 2004."

RS232 is console communication. Normally used for console access to "headless" computers. (Real servers run w/o KVM attached)

I cannot confirm one of the towns in OH (Thingysgag), but the others do, in fact, exist. Licking Valley, btw, is named for the Licking River which forms it. (Yeah, that's it).
Big Bone Lick State Park in northern Kentucky - for those interested in a visit - is located about 3 miles west of Beaverlick. Really. I would have though that town would've made the list, too.

JESUS H. CHRIST!!!!
Those dolls are sick! Not sick as in demented or poorly, but sick as in twistedly cool!
I know that if I bought one, it would come alive during the night and try to kill me. Some of them are so awesome that you just can't stop staring at their lifelike, freakishly huge heads. Others I just want to burn in a pile of Nazi-esque plastic dummy street fires.
This one looks so scared you just want to hold her. But then she'll knife your ass in the spinal cord.

(http://www.artkolective.com/moist-towelette/html/towelette-pgs/international/pappas.html) It's quite funny for me because it's the Hooters of full-service gas stations in Greece. They came under fire recently, just like Hooters did here, for the exploitation of their female employees. Even the pictures they have on their website (http://www.pappasoil.gr) shout "Chauvanist Here! Look at the girls that work here. Only hot ones! If you're an 8 or below, work somewhere else!"

yeah, well, i'm big into the anti-landmine thing. Specialty in Army was engineering so I had to handle them a lot. Seen a lot of those nasty bastidges. Balkan region/Yugoslavia is literally strewn with landmines in random places that kill and mame dozens of people every year. Picture walking along the forest path with your girlie in arms and you see a nice clearing yonder, "hey, sweetie, let's go there, it looks soft and I can't see any ant hills and it's unmolested ground." "Ok Lester."

Shortly after, Wonder Woman sits up and asks "what the hell was that?"

I wouldn't call them weird in the slightest. Russians have been at the forefront of animation art since animation was born. I know you guys didn't grow up with Russian art the way (FX)NewRussian and I have, but if you can find more cartoons and art made by the Russians and surrounding satelite nations, you'll be doing yourselves a favour. Not only are they High Entertainment, they're some of the greatest works of art ever made. For example, the first animation on that link you posted, "Zverskaya Beznakazannostuh" (brutal impunitiy) is very moving. Russia has a lot of problems with capital crime and this is an in-your-face work of art. I love it. The others are equally ingenious.
