Formatted my HD this weekend, and now Wolf won't install. Everything else installed and ran fine, except that. Not a happy camper.

it wont install or you cant get it to run? SK said that he had to roll back his nvidia drivers to even get it to play, so maybe thats your problem

Won't install. And I've got an ATI. It's weird, it spins up, gets to the setup screen, then once I click 'Install', it just spins. And spins. For like 5 minutes. Not a good thing. And yes, it's the original disk. I used it to install Wolf on my dads pc about 3 weeks ago.

Have you tried making a disc image then burning a copy?

Not yet. I'll try that this week, though. Still doing some fine tuning on the new install. Thanks.

My hope is that it's just a scratch or something making a portion of the disc unreadable. Often whatever program is extracting data from a CD for an image can get past a blemmish on the disc, while the install progam cannot read. Once the image is burned, provided you don't run into copywrite program issues. (if you do......here's hint of someone who might be able to help...nvmycdromh4x) The burned copy should install without a hitch.
