Start at -5 hours for EST and subtract 1 as you go across the US. PST would be -8 GMT.

Remind me to never ask MASH the time.
GMT = Greenwich Mean Time
GMT = (pretty much) Universal Time Code (UTC)
PST = Pacific Standard Time = GMT - 8 hours.
So when it's 8PM GMT, it's noon in MASHland

Funny, that's a 2 to 1 ratio against West Coasters. Sure you don't have it backward? :P

I know exactly what time it is... in California, which is what really matters. 8)

C'mon, like you didn't have MASH in mind when you created the award? Newton had gravity, Galilleo had the stars, MASH has the VSF award.

So does this mean we would have to adjust for daylight saving time on April 4?
Disclaimer: Daylight Saving Time, for the U.S. and its territories, is NOT observed in Hawaii, American Samoa, Guam, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, most of the Eastern Time Zone portion of the State of Indiana, and the state of Arizona (not the Navajo Indian Reservation, which does observe). Navajo Nation participates in the Daylight Saving Time policy, due to its large size and location in three states.
